Thank you to everyone who attended the 1WorldSync Annual User Group and GS1 Connect 2014. The week was a great success!
This year we gathered in San Diego, California with over 260 1WorldSync community members from the CPG/General Merchandise, Foodservice, Hardlines and Healthcare industries for the 1WorldSync Annual User Group. This full day of community collaboration included Workgroup breakout sessions, customer presentations and panel discussions.
Highlights included: Jason Lavik, of the Target Corporation, presenting how the attribute explosion has affected Target’s marketing and business plans. A joint panel discussion was led by attendees from Walmart, The Kroger Company, Kellogg’s, The J. M. Smucker Company, Procter & Gamble, and Safeway. The collaboration included audience feedback and a robust question and answer session. Participants also heard from Paul Iagnocco of Kellogg’s and Budi Saputra of Procter & Gamble discuss key supplier initiatives.
User Group attendees discussed the evolving nature of product information and how 1WorldSync continues to offer solutions the GDSN framework and support changing business needs, across all industries. 1WorldSync announced the launch of 1WorldSync’s ContentNOW™, new product capabilities providing customers the ability to aggregate and distribute rich consumer content and digital assets with their product information more completely and easily. Our customers can now utilize a “1 to Any” distribution model to meet Business to Consumer distribution requirements by publishing once to a network of recipients.
