We’re happy to host our all new 1WorldSync Working Group Day, September 14, 2017, at the GS1 Germany Knowledge Center in Cologne, Germany. This one day event, with the theme Digital Commerce, Now!,  is an unique platform for attendees to network, discuss industry trends, best practices and strategies on Data Quality, Supply Chain Enablement, Transparency, Compliance, and Omni-Channel Commerce. It’s a fresh new format with the focus on industry specific workshops for the DIY, Healthcare, FMCG / Grocery/ Retail and Foodservice / Food sectors.

Before all participants join their preferred working groups, the day will kick-off with a warm welcome from 1WorldSync’s CEO Karin Borchert, followed by presentations on the trending topic of the future of eCommerce and Customer Experience – The Next Competitive Battleground.

Don’t miss the chance to participate in one of the following industry workshops:

  • The FMCG, CPG & Retail workshop will cover the overall topic “Digital Transformation, Now” with guest speakers from Gebr. Heinemann, Scandit and DCI.
  • The Foodservice workshop will provide its attendees with updates on the Foodservice Roundtable Initiatives, highlight pilot projects in the UK, and share supplier case studies from the Foodservice sector.
  • The Healthcare workshop presentations will center around the topic “UDI and beyond”. Guest speaker Amanda deLaroque from GS1 Netherlands will provide an update on the ECHO project.
  • The DIY worskhop will be conducted in German language and provides its attendees with a status update of the “DIY Arbeitskreis” as well as a co-presentation from Bosch Powertools and Pirobase Imperia.

In the afternoon, attendees are invited to join a guided tour through the newly designed industry-specific “Live Components” of the Experience Center to discover the latest trends and developments in GS1 Standards and digital technologies first hand.

We’ll conclude the informative and interactive day with our networking reception at the Osman 30 with gorgeous skyline views of Cologne, as well as a meet and greet with our new CEO, Karin Borchert.
